CareRadar's figures are derived from Care Quality Commission data and are free
to republish with a link to CareRadar. We want the numbers used.
Licence
The underlying ratings and inspection findings are CQC data, used under the
Open
Government Licence v3.0. Our derived tables and pages are free to quote and
republish with attribution and a link.
Method
- We take the live rating for each location. Where a location has moved to the
new single assessment framework we show that; otherwise we show its last rating
under the previous framework.
- Area and provider averages score each rating from Inadequate (0) to
Outstanding (3). "Overdue an inspection" means the latest rating is more than
three years old.
- We exclude very small groups from league tables (areas with fewer than 50
rated services; provider groups with fewer than 20) to avoid misleading averages.
Editorial independence
Any advertising or partner placement is clearly labelled and never changes the
data, the ratings or the order of any ranking.
